What do you mean servo....the vacuum unit, then yes if it is leaking the pedal will be hard. You dont mention that you fitted a o- ring on the master, that seals the vacuum unit so it can assist in braking.

    10 Spline front diff Question.

I would like to know from anybody that has done this, and the correct way to do this. The cv's and wheel bearings run in diff oil.......but we all know they leak and this is not good for the environment and other road users as they can slip/skid off the road. I was thinking of greasing up...

    My 3.5 Rangy rebuild

Yes bolt off bolt on, even the wiring was bolt off bolt on, what not cheap, here in OZ they want $220 for the same thing plus exchange, in UK you should pay less because you can give your old alt as exchange unit. You can with a few modifications fit a VW 120Amp alternator thats a Bosch unit...

    My 3.5 Rangy rebuild

This may be disappointing to you as I have learnt that most people here don't like Britparts. It's a 85Amp and you are right, bolt off the old bolt on the new and I swapped the two pulleys just to keep the speed correct. Its a Britpart. I have been searching for a big alternator and this was the...

    brakes

I gather that you said short wheel base series2. Sorry don't get the cell phone talk everyday. You don't mention that you adjusted the brake shoes. If you can pump the brakes and the pedal comes up and hold it....like you said you need to adjust the shoes.

    My 3.5 Rangy rebuild

Well not much going on...........I have eventually made the new radiator brackets, I used 1.2mm stainless steel and all hand crafted..........so excuse the imperfections this is my first attempt at manufacturing things.
