    You are entirely correct, that anything is better than nothing . I just feel that if your making security mods to a defender messing with the doors and locks would be way down on my list. After a dislok ,pedal lock , alarm , tracker , fuel cut off etc

    Their barrel lock is excellent , just fit and forget. As is their pedal lock. Thier gear stick lock is good but a bit fiddely to operate.

    Don't bother changing door locks etc it's a waste of time as the doors can just be unbolted. Although you could argue that it might slow them down a bit .     General AT2's !!!???

    AT's are better in every area than AT2's, except thick mud where the AT2's are a bit better. Although neither are great in mud in my experience. On the road AT's are miles better.

    It might not help , but I had a strange battery drain. In the end it was an earthing problem, and it actually wasn't charging properly rather than draining.

    It didn't make much difference on mine, it's still mainly engine noise that dominates. It's a lot warmer though as it heats up much quicker.
