ive got the yellow and black live comming from the relay and then it goes in to the loom and goes under the pump, but i cant find the wire onto glow plug themselfs does connect to no4 or no1 plug?

been searching though cannot seem to find the answer. where does the feed to the glow plug go? at the front or rear or the engine cos mines vanished. cheers

sounds like good money for the labour to me. get a clutch kit plus fork arm too. mailorder4x4 do a valeo kit and fork for about £80ish.

top tip dont buy cheap crank seals from ebay

try locking up the pully with a filter strap or a chain wrench be careful with chain though or see if you can get a air rachet on them to shock em off. if you aint got an air rachet pop roung to a garage and ask em to crack the bolts for you someone will do it for a drink

300tdi changed me cam belt about 2weeks ago, renewed the crank seal but didnt renew the o ring on the back of the crank pully (seemed ok no damage and wer'nt one in the kit) so now ive got a oil leak from bottom of the timming cover. gonna strip it down tomorrow and have a proper look. i...

if it does turn out to be the bearing on the timing pully dont get the one from ebay landrover do it for £148, iv just changed the cam belt, water pump, tensioner and timming case cover but didnt change the belt and i had the same problem ive left and its gone away it might be a bit of oil...

just had look in the owners manual and its says 5w/30 will do as well as 5w/40 and 5w/50. i spent 6months in canada in the winter and im sure the army used the same oil all through the year (OMD 90) and the temp drops to about -45 with wind chill.

ive just done aload of work on my discovery which included rad and p gasket and water pump, it bleed up fine heaters work hot and cold.Been on a gud road test and the temp gauge does nt even get to half way is there a problem or not:confused:.doesnt over heat or lose water any help please

im looking for help reguarding the fan hub pulley on the timing chest not the viscous hub though. can you buy a replacement bearing or do you need to buy the whole cover? anybody got a part number and cost and where from would be helpfull also whats the ideal battery for a disco 1 mine seems...

yer found a bit but nothing major,(so far) gotta do me cam belt and rad soon done the viscous fan and front diff seal during the week but think im gonna need the main pully the fan runs off, cos its running a wobble but ill do it a bit at a time

i got meself disco 300tdi 3door on a 98 plate

disco 1 im after a oil breather, oilcooler pipes and the pipe from the rocker to filter housing, best place to get them from or if ant ones selling any.:)
