2 1/4 petrol rejecting oil out the top...?

head gaskets dont need sealant unless you have a fault and then it would only be a tempory job as it would not last due to the presure from the pistons , i always use a smearing of oil, 1 on the block and 1 on the head, this then bakes hard making an air tight seal, using gasket sealant will...

fuel leak from the diesel injector pump......

leave the stripping down and repairs to an expert its not a job for a novice, if its losing that much fuel you should be able to see where its coming from. also if you put your location on the thread some one could be close by who could look at it for you and even help you by recomending some...

Hi, need a fairly quick reply (ps, I'm new :) )

width of landy 64 inches, thats the body, if you have got standard wheels it will sit on there tidy, if its got wide wheels providing the trailer hasnt got side boards it will still fit but you would have a slight overhang onn either side, and providing the trailer is very sturdy you wont have...

valve stem seals, brakes, stop cable

the inner wire is as old as the landy, and no doubt at some time in its life as been subject to every sort of weather being thrown at it and the sure way to rectify is remove it from the vehicle and soak it in oil and at the same time slide the outer cable up and down whilst holding the inner...

valve stem seals, brakes, stop cable

theyb can but why only do half a job, also if you drop a bollock/ make a mistake ie have the piston down instead of up when doing the seal you end up stripping the head off anyway, and if you havnt got the gasket because you have cut corners ie by doing it with the head on you then have to chase...

TD 19J Engine Oil Pressure low

when you say you put a oil presure gauge on it was that the type you screw into the block, also going by the presure readings you have given they would fluctuate by the difference of tickover and travelling with high revs, i would go down the road of changing the oil presure switch first as the...

valve stem seals, brakes, stop cable

valve seals are easy enought to do, the proper way to do them is remove the head, that way then you can regrind the valves in when you change the seals, it can be done with the head on but why only do half a job, and you need a valve compressing tool to remove the valves or make your own.

My series iii will not start. Help!

the thing that puzzles me is if the fuel filter didnt have fuel in it, how does that affect your distributor it sounds like you now have some issue with the fuel side of it, or the problem is the fuel system all along, the fuel system is independant to the ignition.
