    Brake overhaul time.

Morning all, Finally getting around to a major overhaul of the 110s brakes. New discs, caliper strip, paint, new SS pistons etc. Mine has ABS and I'm not sure how the hub is split from the disc as the pulsar ring covers up the bolts, see pic below. Trying to make sure I have all...

    1999 td5 d2 low on power

My TD5 fender behaved just as you describe. After checking all sorts it turned out to be low boost pressure as a result of a blocked cat. Mike.

    Judder when pulling away

I occasionally tow a bike, yeah, I own a Husky....My wagon leads a very easy life. Did the disco transfer box ratio change wnen I did the clutch and this quitened things down somewhat. Anything to be concerned about? Coolant on bottle

New OEM cap and running the header tank about 10mm lower than the level mark works for me. I guessing the lower level means less sloshing on the cap so less mess. Been running happily like this for years.

    Stub and cv question

CVs have the stub drive shaft on them. Stub axles are original. Drive flanges are britpart. OEM stub axles were £350ish if I recall corectly. So I cleaned the fecked thread on the end of the stub axle on the lathe.

    Stub and cv question

Britpart CVs and drive flanges. A small fraction of the OEM cost. So far so good, been on for 5 odd years. Moderatly tweaked engine, 255/85/16 tyres. Have to admit I was really sceptical but they have been fine. Good luck

    04 110 XS TD5 ABS Fault

Excess slack in the CV joint was the cause of my ABS/TC faults and odd drive noises. Replaced with britpart CVs and still going fine... I think the wear allowed the outer cup (with the wheel speed notches on it) to flap about. Pulled the suspect one apart and it didn't look that bad.
