I have recently done the rear cross member on mine, stripped it back used a rust treatment under coated and then used a rubberised enamel paint for the top coat and it looks fantastic. First time I have done it so will see how it lasts.

Would always mount inside, will get trashed outside and won't work when you need it! Mines mounted under the second row of seats, out of sight and secure.

I know the feeling, I have a similar problem, I hate selling my cars, so I don't. Currently have 7 vehicles, running out of space in the garage, it needs an extension.

Not something I would do, I would prefer to be able to easily put it back to standard if I was selling as I know that tinkered with ECU's puts people off.

How old are the kids? If they are between 0 and 16 I would put them on the roof rack and the luggage on the seats and then it should be a nice trip.

Exmoor trim do nice grey leather seats for front and back, was considering the black leather option myself but think it was around £888 for the front pair and £650ish for the second row so think it will have to wait for now.

They don't look good, why would you want CSK cut in the front? Not like its an established brand and I also recall a thread on here where he came across as a bit of a tool!
