Run the same KP 205R16 MT on my 1967 swb ex mil. Fitted on mil split rims with tubes and yes fixing punctures with the split rims is easy. It's only easy though as they are blasted and painted so not glued together with rust. Had to fix puncture when driving the North Coast 500 this summer

Not seen the program but military crossmembers are different. They are not tapered.This is my '67 ex mil

Removed trim today. It did not come off intact. Door trims are ripped into several pieces but front and rear sections survived with only partial tears. Happy to forward bits for cost of courier but you may be dissapointed

Ha, no it hasn't. Every time I get a day off it rains. Too wet today,back on night shift Sat till Thurs so if not raining next Thurs I'll give it a go.
