    Usual cause of oil being pushed out of breather is crankcase pressurisation. Worn bores or rings causing piston blowby.

    It's supposed to be missing in normal use. It's a wading plug, only to be fitted when driving thru deep water. It stop mud and water entering the clutch housing. Leaving it out its advised to let oil leaks drain away.
