Classic Running out of working doors!

Thanks very much chaps, I think it's supposed to stop raining on Saturday so with a bit of luck I should be able to have a look. I don't have a parts diagram but I am hoping to compare one door with the other assuming I can get the rear door open. This one was most odd as I was having no issues...

Does this look right to you - ebay?

Looking at this on ebay but it doesn't look right to me as it's stated as 1963 series 3, does such a thing exist as I thought they didn't introduce series three until early 70's? Do you think it's just had a plate swap on a later car to get it tax exempt...

Drivers side rear door will now no...

Classic How many whites in 1972?

I have read somewhere there are no paint codes added to classic's this age and mine is already two different whites where someone has had a go in the past, the original appears to be a "whiter" white than the touch ups that have gone on over the years. Anyway how can I find out the original...

    Classic Scuttle repair?!?!?!

This may be the next panel I attempt to repair, has anyone got any ideas of where to start, anyone repaired one this bad in the past? Thinking about cutting off what's left and starting again? Have a friend who says I could "bond" and new panel on, has anyone tried that? Your thoughts please...

    Classic Sealer between panels?

Sorted out the brakes, calipers refurbished, flex brake pipes replace etc etc... now back to some bodywork. Can I ask if there is sealer added between panels such as where the tunnel bolts to the sills (basically down the middle of the foot wells if I have used the wrong terminology ) and if...

Classic I'm forever blowing bubbles, pretty little bubbles.......

Help, Going round in circles trying to bleed my brakes. I seem to be able to get fluid through the second circuit but not the primary. Whatever I do I seem to get bubbles in the master cylinder reservoir I have pumped the pedal so many times my leg is now pumped up also. I have tried a pressure...

Classic Flexible brake pipes, no fluid?

That's a good idea as it means I could be looking at the condition of them whilst I wait for new pipes. Last time I had some brake callipers refurbished rather than doing it myself and buying new pistons etc it was just as cheap to send them to Bigg Red they did a great job on my jag callipers

Classic Flexible brake pipes, no fluid?

Ah yes and possibly a smaller diameter hole than at the inlet of the pipe. Thank you for shedding some light on that it was driving me mad. They look like they are original ones so they've last well but funny that all four front are blocked solid

Classic Flexible brake pipes, no fluid?

I will change them due to age but I just wanted to understand if they where supposed to be clear straight through or have some kind of insert in them as they are all the same. Thanks for your help .

Classic Flexible brake pipes, no fluid?

1972 Suffix A. I thought I would try and push out the brake caliper pistons to have a look at them to see if I needed to get them refurbished so I thought bleed the system (after both hubs being off) and off I go !! How wrong I was I couldn't bleed them so I traced back to how far the fluid was...

    Classic Track rod tube bent?

I had to remove my track rod tube whilst replacing my diff and I am now putting it back together I have noticed there are a couple of bends in the tube and I was wondering if it was meant to be bent as I can see no reason why the bends would need to be there? Should it be straight all the way...
