    Where does it go?

Just got a refurb kit for my brake cylinders see below and I have no idea where the one on the far left goes. ( I have the drum drakes that have two cylinders per wheel. The middle one goes around the piston in the cylinder and the far right is the dust cover on the end but the first one? Is it...

Series 3 Brake Rebuild Series 3 Need pumping

I have the drums with two cylinders (11") at the front and 10" on the rear. I have spent most of the day trying to bleed them but I am going round in circles. They seem to be working " a bit" but with the wheels on axles stands and the wife pressing on the pedal with both feet I can still turn...

Series 3 Brake Rebuild Series 3 Need pumping

I have a similar problem to the other post, I have rebuilt my brakes and the rear ones work fine but the front don't work until I pump the pedal about three times, then if I leave it five minutes it will need pumping again! I have bled the brakes for hours and there doesn't appear to be air. I...

Classic Rover V8 oil light problems

OK, new gauge fitted with T piece and pressure switch and new mechanical gauge all fitted and working. Light now goes out and gauge reads around 35-40 psi (revving it in the garage). I have two questions now:- What pressure should I get on rover v8? When I do an oil change in the future do I...

    V8 Transplant oil light problems

I do have another question I have stripped the pump whilst waiting and I seem to have an extra port with a spring in it but have no idea what it's for? Do you know what it's for. Plus it looks as though the gasket is virtually missing (parts of it anyway) so I will order another if I can find...

    V8 Transplant oil light problems

Don't worry I'm sure it's the right way to go in the long run just thinking now maybe I should find a T and try to fit light and gauge if I have room. I do have another question I have stripped the pump whilst waiting and I seem to have an extra port with a spring in it but have no idea what...

    V8 Transplant oil light problems

Taken your advise and ordered that gauge, not bothered about having the light as well as the gauge seems a much better idea. I will see what happens when I have fitted it. Thanks
