I saw a Vogue SE for sale on autotrader in early oct,which had the exact same paint job, red carpets, piping and colour coded bumpers and top it off it was a 4.6.

Dunno but could be a worth a try if it gone into alarmed mode, disconnect the battery, put the key in ign, postion II and reconnect the battery, if that doesn't work. Disconnect, reconnect, lock unlock the doors with the key and then try to start it. Worth a shot ?

I think a nice bead of silicone would seal it up nicely.

But be careful though, doesn't take much from showing bone dry to full. Try 1/4 liter at a time and check

AFAIK, you can't have two synced keys at any one given time. Maybe your bro, used the other key and now its probably got the ENGINE DISABLED msg. P.S : Why would you have the spare and the original key in the same bunch anyways, kinda defeats the purpose doesn't it :)
