So is it correct to say the 110 and Defender original specs were unchanged '89 to '90 except for the badges?

The original engine was a turbo diesel which blew and has been replaced by a Disco's 300TDI (with 90,000 miles fyi). Here's some MOT deets, which I guess refer to the original engine?

Not sure when it was built precisely. I believe the log book says '89. The manufacturing plate should tell me I guess?

I'll ask which engine it came with - it's been replaced by a 300tdi. Follow on question - perhaps for a different thread: do these 300s have either overheating or timing belt issues, and if so, how can I assess that when I see it tomorrow? Any other serious issues, like weak head gaskets etc?

I'm looking at buying this 1989 Landie tomorrow with Defender decals and the logbook says Defender. Is it actually a 110? What's the difference between the two models in any case?
