Normally just UJs. Just check for play and replace accordingly. If you're planning on doing a lift get some wide angle props. Makes greasing the UJs easier aswell :)

Without being silly, you've checked the battery is okay I take it? Is the feed to the radio getting warm/hot? And does everything else work fine, lights etc, or are other things effected? Is the 6v with the engine running or not?

I find it easier to get a good finish with cans... But I've seen much better than my painting done with both rollers and spray - not sure about brushing though, doesn't appeal to me lol.

Prep is 99% of painting. Good surface to paint on, all primer'd up and wet'n'dried to nice and flat. But if you're not that bothered, like me - just spray over the top of the mud! :D:D

Not 100% I understand your explanation, but I think you mean that the extended arches don't fit to the contour of the metal arch, and instead sit above, leaving metal arch below the extended arches, potentially fouling on your (presumably wide) wheels. I'd cut out only what you need to ensure...

Check the contacts where the bulb meets its socket. Could be corroded. Otherwise it's down to getting the voltmeter out and testing/tracing! Is it just a brake light? Or is it a tail/brake combo?

I run my 200tdi with out viscous fan, or cowl. I've got an electric one for the summer offroading, otherwise never had a problem with overheating.
