Haha - I've not driven anything with enough power to produce torque steer. My landys got the biggest engine I've insured by a whole 1.2 litres - and by far the most torque haha. Bloody expensive insurance. I wanted a mk2 escort when I was 17 for some RWD fun... but insurance was about 3000 so...

Agreed. Most of the pollution a car makes is during production. Therefore my dad's '54 S1 is more environmentally friendly than a new Prius. :D AND more fun! :cool:

haha it's pretty quiet down here and not many places to go... plod even drive the byways - quite regularly bump into them :( Only got one 4x4 club, with monthly meetings - which is no where near enough off roading for me :D I try to make it to pay and plays in chichester, box grove and slindon...

Don't think there will be alternative fuels instead? Big oil companies won't want to loose out - so they'll be buying up and keeping secret anything that is likely to be a good alternative fuel source. Apart from veggie oil!
