Hi Rick I'd be up for some laneing never done it before because like you didn't fancy getting stuck on my jack jones by the way where abouts in northants are you I'm north northants.
After my cam belt snapped which broke a few rockers bent most of the lifters any way I replaced all bits and sorted the belt out now the beast won't start just turns over, please help
ATS man with inch drive air gun got bloody nut off, and what a sight when I opened the timing case, the belt was only half the width with the rest of the shreaded belt filling the case, that sorted now on with the "p" gasket.
sorry crosed wires,ive tried the putting it low range and i was standing on the bar so thats 14 st on it still no joy,but just had a thought need to find a mobile tyre fitter with a 3/4drive air gun, failing that welding a builbers spike to it.
Ok tried to get the Bxxstard nut off using "the starter method" no joy it broke my wrecking bar so with the arrival of the the hand impact wrench still no joy HELP!!!!!
My cam belt went today, looked under the rocker cover and three of the rockers have busted.
Is it worth just replacing the head or the whole engine.
What over damage could it have done.
