    Thank you for the replies, last night I warmed up the block with a roofing torch, didn’t reach anymore than 300deg, the liners just pushed out , I will now do a pressure test to see if there are any cracks as the two liners I was concerned about look a bit gungy where they were in the block...

    Hi, I had the same thing after putting a 4.6 into my 110, took a while to find but I had not got a good seal when I fitted the oil pick up from the 3.9, I stupidly re-used the gasget, well it stayed on the pick up pipe but it had gone hard. I think I may have added a few thousand miles of wear...

    Thank you, yes resovoir and a couple of soleniods , I am thinking that the assisters would not allow it to lower as the spring is still there. I did change an air spring for a friend on a range rover and as i remember it was merely held with a couple of clips.

    Hello, I have been wondering if it would be possible to remove the rear springs on my 1983 110 and relace them with p38 range rover air bags/springs and then add a manually controlled compressor , why? well for negotiating very uneven driveway with trailer. Any thoughts regards Tim.
