I replaced my matrix last year due to a leak,also removed the heater blower and opened it up was full of crap and all the foam seals had perished so made some new seals and adjusted the linkages that control the flap,wot a difference it gets quite warm now:)

Yes that's the one ,a think I need to cut my dash but just wanted to make sure before a get the chainsaw fired up lol :-)

So I have got an rdx dash console to fit,so 2 questions before I mess it up. Question 1..do I need to cut the dash were my cig lighter,clock and rear wash/wipe sits? Question 2..has anyone fitted the rdx rear wash wipe switch,if so is it the same connections as the original switch ? Thats...

Finally fitted my new drivers seat so all matching now , black and lime green ,prob not too everyones taste but I likes it:-) also fitted my twin cup holders,,if you want to view check out my pics in my album .

Can you see a definate crack in the manifold?a might be wrong but am sure a cracked manifold wouldnt sound as ruff as that ?

Sounds like you need a carb service kit, if its leaking at the gasket it will also suck air in giveing the symptons you described,,if you do strip it down get yourself a carb kit witch should include the relevant gaskets Have a butchers at retroanaconda.com

Well I'll be at billing camped last year, and camping again this year, only downside is don't think I'll be going in the landy this year ,but sure there will be plenty to look at :-)

Ey up and welcome....get to know it first...have a crawl about and see if there's owt that stands out,,,start with the simple stuff and work your way up....be prepared to get covered in oil and grease ,you'll soon get to grips with things :-)

Had similar issues and turned out to be the earth wire,cleaned up and ran a new earth wire to h4 connector and sorted the issue .
