4.6s are the biggest engines but are more prone to engine problems,slipped liners,cracked blocks etc, also the least efficient but the most powerful. 4 litre not as prone to the problems as the 4.6 but has been known to happen,MPG not much better and a little less power, I've not noticed it much...

A Jimny looks gayer than a bag of dicks, it is really its biggest let down that.

I always thought that there wasn't really much difference between 200 and 300 Tdis anyway?,looking around on Autotrader and Ebay I think I'm going to try and get a 200 Tdi manual, not going to bother with paying more for ES spec though.

Think a decent 200 Tdi Disco seems like the best bet, are they better with a manual or auto?, V8 Rangie would be nice but not an option unless LPG.

I've got the original Sat Nav from 2002 but when I had to reset the Nav Computer the screen looked like that instead of the usual style:confused:

Bit of a different question but you see the display style on the nav screen on that site you linked?, how can you change your screen to look like that, mine went into looking like that on its own but the Navigation option was missing from the screen, I had to re insert the nav disc to get it to...

Make sure you use Esso/Mobil ATF LT 77411, it's what's recommended for the ZF box, I did a transmission fluid change recently and wouldn't risk using other oils, the only downside is the stuff is nearly £20 a litre from a LR dealer but it can be found online for less.

Is yours a V8 or TD6?.

Is Cyprus the deeper green that's more common on Defenders?, again a really nice colour. Epsom Green looks great on a P38 too I think but wrong on an L322.
