Has anyone tried one of these NEW ABS Snorkel - Discovery 1 300TDi 3 9 Efi V8 Would prefer a safari one but this is half the price.

Has anyone got a snorkel,complete or part for a 1991 Disco 3.5 V8? Or if someone has done a DIY one,could they pass on details please?

Got my mate to do a 'sniff' test on it and all ok! I'm starting to think heater matrix as in a week, expansion tank has emptied. Won't be investigating that anytime soon though,I'll wait til the warm weather again...if we get any!

Sort of what I was thinking with the misfire. The oil level is ok, and not contaminated which is good. Found my misfire problem was due to a faulty plug! The ceramic had totally gone around the electrode. The plugs were only about 6 months old too. Also went for hotter plugs due to being on LPG. Eventually an easy fix,just wish I'd checked plugs first. Live and learn!

I've got a nearly new (only done 400 miles) cylinder head for sale from my scrapped '95 300tdi. It's the head with extra cooling channels. It's fully built ready to fit.It might just need tappets resetting. I'm looking for £280 ovno. Pick up or LZ courier only, due to weight.

Has anyone got an adjustable drop plate for a disco 1? I suppose they are universal really. I'm going to be putting bigger tyres and lift on but still need to tow my trailer which is only just ok in standard form.

I'm after a steering guard,preferably with towing eyes and lift points.but will consider any if right price.

I want £280 for the head as it is built up and only done approx 400 miles.It cost me £300 plus building up before fitting.I could deliver to cardiff for £20 to cover fuel or meet you somewhere half way if it's convenient.If your interested pm me with your number and we'll sort something out.

Has anyone tried 'Performance Leads' HT leads?Discovery £0.00 - Land Rover Ignition leads - performance ignition leads UK I've been advised to get some 8mm leads as running LPG,and to get good quality ones but obviously keeping to a budget.How much difference do they make?

I went with a full set of standard height heavy duty springs from Rimmer brothers. Fitted the rears so far and hell of a difference already. Gonna fit the fronts this week so should be a big improvement there too. :D

Would anyone know if the front door window frames on the 200 & 300 models are the same? I want to fit the mirrors from my scrapper 300 to my V8. The mountings are different so could be easier just to unbolt frame from each and swap. Could swap doors complete but that means a respray.
