Hey James, do you know if the 200 chassis will fit a 300? Engine mounts I know. I think the anti roll bar mounts Will a 300 gearbox Crossmember fit a 200 chassis? Will a 300 fuel tank fit a 200 rear cross member? Anything else? Cheers mate... How are you anyway?

I know the engine mounts will need to be changed with new ones welded in, but do you or anyone else know if the 300tdi gearbox cross member will just bolt in to a 200 chassis? Also, is the rear Crossmember the same with regards the fuel tank for a 300?

Wow, that is a distance. I did drive up to James Martin in Lincolnshire Where I helped him do my gearbox. What you after for it and what sort of condition is it in? Not that, that is an easy question to answer.

I have two from some old disco doors. Of they were straight thru would be about 34cm long. Could you use them? They have a threaded bit one end.

How long Do they need to be?

Is not quite so black and white as that. If I was to repair my chassis (which I thought I could till this morning) it would have cost me 600 maybe with the chassis panels and paint. And being done over a period time I could budget little bits every so often. However I just can't afford 3k in 1...
