Hi all my 2002 v6 is braking me :mad: its got a multi misefire fault ,which inturn made it fail its MOT for high 02 at idle (test said cat is working fine) ive checked for air leaks,pressure tested the fuel system,changed the fuel filter,changed the spark plugs,ohms tested the leads and...

well did a ohms test on the 3 front coils 2 where 1.3 at the 200 setting on the metre the other was 1.4 on the metre so i assume as so close there ok?

im well ****ed off, never got out to garage till around 1730 and could not find my old foot pump ,and by that time all shops round this area where closed :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: so could not preasure test her ,but i removed the fuel cover plate in boot as pic below shows right...

cool well im off this weekend so the pressure test will be done,filter changed and hopefully get to solve the problem time will tell

well picked up new filter ,hope its the right one as not had time yet to pull old one out ,shop said it was but who knows lol

not had time to check preasure but managed to order a fuel filter ,will arrive tomorrow either way im sure it could prob do changing lol

where does the excess fuel go if no leak off pipe like on a proper gauge

in 2 minds now lol but if i get it will it also work for other things like checking vacume pipes etc

just been looking on ebay and the gauges only seem to go upto 10 psi :(:(:(

ok i see your point now so you say connect the gauge to the thing on the fuel rail thats like a bike valve what psi should it be mate?

going to check fuel as soon as i get a gauge also been looking at where the filter is ,i placed a thread and was told its in the tank i assume maybe a dirty fuel filter may course this problem too?

right this misfire any one have any ideas??? its starting to pee me off now ,ive changed the plugs,no airleaks,leads seem ok and on a ohms test coils seem ok (but was done when cold!) what else could it be?? would a blocked injecter do this? if so would some radex stuff help any ideas would...
