water pump fins broke ??????? maybe there broke which in turn means the fluid is not getting pushed around the engine like it should so of course will boil over ? also check the engine bleed bolt to make sure no air lock

wonder if you could some how adapt them to fit? or would they be some how set different maybe spin at a different speed to what the freelander one does?

i had just watched that video, thats what i ment that looks so easy to fix ,why did landrover have to make the freelander vcu a sealed unit the honda one seems simple to fix

ive got the chance of a fully working mainfold/pullem for a very cheap price seeing i modded mine because of the death rattle could that have a effect on the idle 02 readings? if so would it be worth me getting this manifold ive been offered?

yes will do mate, will take some later it seems to have smoke coming out of the pipe that fits into the hole near the vis also around where the servo pipe fits into the pullem hope you have a brill hol and weathers hot

no was thinking maybe a air leak in the engine system ie gasket etc, im 99% sure i dont have a leak ,but i want to make 100000% sure so i can def rule out to much air getting in the system which in turn would course the ecu to throw in more fuel which i assume would course the engine misfire i...

think im going to see if i can find some bits and pieces ,and make some kind of smoke machine ,some how fit it to a blower ,fit to a breather pipe and pump it into the engine see if any escapes ,that way i would be 1000000% sure i have no air leaks any where ,i cant think of anything else to...

you say theres a bleed screw on front of engine? where is this ? all i can find on my v6 is a bleed screw on the pipe work going into the bulkhead which i assume is to help bleed the heating

Hi all im going to remove my 02 sensors on my freelander 2.5 v6 hopefully tomorrow anyone no what size socket i will need? just been on line looking at lambha sensor sockets but want to make sure i get right size cheers griff

no i think it was number 1 that was unplugged ,but i will double check,im off on wed so will do more tests with a charged phone
