have you checked the wave pattern whilst on the move? just had same prob with a mates td5 he ended up with new bearing and sensor..also the sensor was breaking down only at speed,had 3 different sensors till we sorted it..another no brainer...check the tyre pressures..sounds dumb i know but if...

its not emmsions thats the problem mate, its the noise. if you remove the cat then no problem but when you start taking out the mufflers then the plod could get ancy with ya...but havin said that ..its my next job lol on the 300tdi i have..decat and a large bore freeflow silencer in the middle.

found out mine had been retro fitted but the log book says 7 seats so dont think its a major prob mate as long as you tell dvla

i made some up our of old engine oil containers, just stuck em on with gaffer tape and they did the trick, only prob is you also tend to lose a little of the light emmited, i have 2 fog and 2 spots and tbh the fogs dont glare as much but not much light output, the spots are better at distance...

Agree with all of the above...and have had many arguments on many forums bout the same thing..boot floor being the major one...just cos the tester cant see it for all the crap underneath it dont mean its a pass...that seems to be what most peeps think..lol

nope been in the trade for over 20 years and never used it and also never had any comebacks copper slip is primarily used to compensate for ****ty material on brake pads of lesser quality to stop brake squeal..nothing more nothing less..yeah sure it aids the pads from seizing in the caliper..but...

i personally dont use copper slip...they dont come on a new car, if you clean the caliper carrier and pad slides properly you wont need it..also the copper grease attracts crap n crud..which can be counter productive..although i do tend to chamfer the pad edges on most pads i fit..an i fit...

if they have the other channels then yes, but personally i think they would prob be on the old uk 40..so may be a beeter option to bite the bullet and get another set...plenty of places sell em cheap enough.,..charlie bravos cb shack is cheap enough...ray is a top bloke who will help you out..he...

its a mid band radio..uk has 80 legal fm channels the old cb27/81 and the newer cept freq (or mid band as its known)..not many got the mid bands.. mine has 80 channels but no one is ever on there..lol
