Don't know if it's santana but i have seen series windscreens with the centre bar chopped out and one single pane fitted A defender screen won't fit, best bet is just to get a series 3 one off ebay

It has been on here before, and over at the series 2 forum there is a bit of banter over the originality and value etc, but apart from losing the original registration it is a lovely motor.

Any vehicle/ engine can be unreliable, but i doubt you will get cheap insurance with a vehicle that doesnt have the engine it was built with due to it being a modification, which if you don't declare you can wave goodbye to your cover. Tell your old man he is a bell end ;)

You have got a proper series! Have you tried the switch on the back of each lucas motor? (The silver jobbies your side of the screen) One should be a manual wipe and the other the power =)

Yes they will, if the rivet holes don't line up you can drill out more

The Series 3 cappings on the rear tub are punched on the inside, wheras the early 2's were solid. I'm looking for some solid ones for my 59 88", Rare as hell unfortunately
