Does yours have the sat nav type of centre dash, if it does (without the satnav) the cubby will come out and, you can reach the clock bulb, too late now I know, already done.:oops:

They are actually cheaper by £100 for a late P38, than Island!

Just out of interest, I looked at MGF ones on Rimmers site, from what I could see they have three wires and, they're nearly as expensive as P38 ones.

If a new one is £232 it is not, that I'm condoning stealing parts from a fellow owner but, hooking one out of one in a breakers, sticking it in yer sky and, paying a couple of quid for another part is acceptable.

New ones are available if, you want to spend £232 but, had it been an older P38, £499.:eek:

Maybe prior to Nov 92 are exempt but, knowing the frogs, doubt it.

It's just an extension, when I had a Rover P5B the cap screws straight into the rocker cover.

I found on mine it held steady at higher speeds, never used it under motorway speeds.

They are all ok, I prefer the Comets, given a choice, but, I don't like the 3 spoke ones that are on some P38s.

A lot of cars I see with DRLs, tail lights are off, thought they were all the same, my mistake.

I wouldn't move any alternator without disconnecting the battery.

Don't get lulled into false sense of security when it gets dark as, you'll have no tail lights.:oops:

Personally I think the coolant should flow through the matrix constantly, control the heat via flaps in the heater box, when there is a valve shut off all summer come the winter, open the valve (if it's not seized), more often than not will leak or, the matrix could be blocked due to no flow for...

I won't use E10, currently only have a 24 year old Focus, my preferred garage is a Shell one so I use V Power, I even use it in the garden machinery.
