Removed the ACE system from the TD5 disco today. Nice and easy! Slip the belt off, change the pulley and removed old bottle and replace with a PAS bottle from another TD5 without ACE :D Replace belt with non ACE model belt. Just got to plug into IDS to tell the ECU that it doesn't have ACE now...

:D Or just buy it and keep the crane! And keep buying Britpart because they're cheaper :D

Try Goldsmith upholstery in ipswich. Only a few minutes up the road and they used to do a lot of our lambretta scooter seats for about £50 so a series can't be much more than that?

Update from me..... long time no real see :D All good with the TD5. Had a small issue whereby the ACE light came on but upon plugging into Hawkeye Pro and clearing fault code for pressure sensor on ACE pump it disappeared and hasn't been back :D Oh and a blown fuse on the cigar lighter from...
