    hello i have a regular problem with this if you put a screwdriver on both sides of the cd cassette and very gently pull the cassette it will be released then press the eject button the unit makes a swish noise and realligns itself then replace the cassette unit should now work perfectly...

    will try wd40 tommorrow car knows doors are open/closed as the alarm sounds the horn once if a door is not closed tryed this with all doors and it was aware on every one thankyou for your comments though as i am still hopeful that i may win this small battle.

    where abouts is the doo dar have a feeling the boot could be the problem as the rear door was very stiff when purchassed this problem disappeared after few weeks of normal use that was 2 years ago in reply to mantamad the interior lights only work manualy at the moment

    these door pins are they the plastic things in the top corner of the doors that pop up when unlocked if they are, then they are fine although boot can be temperamental with key fob but always pops up on secound click. light still refuses to play ball, thankyou ott

    hi can any one help interior lights on 1999 td5 work manualy but not with the doors or key fob central locking fine red light around ignition works tried local garage no luck i am not brain dead but try not to be to technical don't want to spend fortune ,thankyou for your help
