Hi just a quicky, i replaced my alternator the other week and it read higher on tick over than when I revved it. It was about 14.6 on tick over then it went down to about 14ish when I revved it. Not sure about removing the wire to the battery light, I would presume it would go out completly...

I just ordered a windscreen washer pump from an on line spares company, it was 5 quid cheaper but I didn't realise it was ****part, when it turned up today I found out. It's fitted so lets see how long it lasts!

Hi all, i'm just wondering, and have been since I got the landy, how far over/up a bank can you take a Defender 90 before it topples onto it's side. I have done it a few times where it feels as if it could topple at any time. Or am I asking a stupid question? Cheers Terra Dog P.S any pics...

Mines parked in a private road/cul de sac which you could easily miss when driving past, usually backed up to the garage so the spare wheel can't get nicked easily. I also have a TOAD Cat 1 alarm and a Disk Lock. I must admit when i first got her i was a bit paranoid but that has worn off a bit...

I see what you mean, i'm going to get the proper K&N cleaning kit, so no worries, might even investigate into changing the cyclone breather, are they easy to fit, from what i've read i think they are?

So should i wait a few weeks and by the proper k&n filter cleaning stuff or risk doing it with out, i'm skint at the mo so can't even afford to get some atf fluid, unless i have some left over from the service i did a couple of weeks ago. I'll have to check.

OK thanks for that. I think i'll just put an original air filter back on when i get paid. I dont think it anything to do with the air filter, but it is dirty so no harm in replacin it.
