    Knee Problems

Has it still got the two return springs on the pedal? I removed them years ago for the same reason and it made the clutch a lot lighter.

Are 2.25D and 2.5D na injectors the same?

They seem to share the same part No. on various sites so I guess they must be.

Using different size tyres front to back.

Many thanks everyone. Temporarily sorted with 3 part worn tyres on tubeless rims!! very posh. Now I start saving. The biggest problem here is you must have the same size tyres as is quoted on the registration papers of the vehicle. Mine only states 7.50 x 16. If I fit anything else it will fail...

Using different size tyres front to back.

Thanks for the offer top drive, but I live in Ibiza and there aren't many options here for tyres. The best price I could get for 4 new was nearly €1000. I know it's not good, but I really don't have an option.

Using different size tyres front to back.

Hi, due to being broke I'm having to run my '86 110 defender with 7.50 x 16's on the rear and 205/somethings on the front which are quite a bit smaller. Am I killing my transfer box and should I remove the front propshaft and run it with the diff lock on? Thanks

    Power steering pulley bearing

Hi All, I've got an ex military 1986 2.5n/a 110 that had power steering put on it. The bearing in the tensioner pulley collapsed today and the part has been discontinued. I hoped I could just change the bearing, but its a very odd thing. It's 28mm OD, 26.5mm wide, with a solid shaft in the...

how can i fit an oil cooler

My ex military 110 has one fitted. I think they were fairly standard equipment in the army. It might be worth trying a breakers to pick up the whole lot. The pipes connect to the oil filter housing.

Will these wheels fit a 110?

Does anyone know if these will fit an '86 110 with a Salisbury rear axle? I know the're ugly, but the're free with almost new tyres. Thanks

    Re-registering a vehicle in Spain

Hi All, I'm trying to re-register my ex-military 1986 110 to Spanish plates and have a number of problems. There's no type approval No. or engine No. on the log book and it says first reg. in 2003 although it was built in 1986. Do landrovers have a type approval No. and has anybody else...

    What colour is this Landy?

There also useful for comparing general colours. OK What are the Landrover names for the two colours on this Landy? I've seen the green called Mint and Sage, but can't find any reference to it.

    Reversing light for Series 3?

I just put a light on the back and wired it to a switch on the dash, which is fine if you sit in the vehicle while they do your MOT.

    What colour is this Landy?

I want to paint my old ex military 110 and I've always loved this colour scheme. I've looked on a few sites, but can't find the codes for it. Does anyone know the Pantone codes, as it will be a brush and roller job and I'll just get the paint mixed in a local paintshop here in Spain. Thanks

Clutch pedal too heavy for the missus.

The clutch on your Defender is hydraulic. I had the same problem. Mines an ex military and had two springs either side of the pedal. I assume civilian models are the same. I just took them off. Much lighter.
