    i have a 1 ton which is adequate, it is a bit short in the lifting arm.so i had to remove the bumper to give me enough reach.but a two ton would be ample. ron.

    only ever owned two. and both were pretty firm.but as long as it works stop worrying and enjoy it. if it's a bit spongey take it back and ask em to re-bleed it, they are a pain to bleed properly so could be that. is the garage a landrover garage or just a general one. ron.:D

    i would assume the mod you are talking about is you have disconected the tail lights on the bumper and done a mod on the original tail light cluster to make em work. i e put a link in accross the terminals. if so. make sure the link has not broken. as already suggested tell us what mod was done...

    if you have bled the clutch and all was well, i would doubt it's the fork and would go for what has already been mentioned. master or slave cylinder . ron:dance:

    300tdi pulley bolt

    whip out the starter motor. wedge a large screwdriver or crowbar in the flywheel. but do make sure it's wedged in tight, because if it slips it could damage the ring gear, ron.
