the job went very easy. gearbox went in with no problems at all. which makes me think it could well be the pressure plate out of balance. the suggestion was made that if I turn the pressure plate 180 degrees it should solve it but I am going on hols on sunday so havn't got time to do it till I...

having done quite a search I have found nowt that fits the problem. so. having fitted a new clutch in our discovery 1 300tdi. I now find I have a vibration that comes in at certain revs. I e , mid range and it's driving me flippin nuts. it never happened before I changed it so I am assuming...

our discovery has thrown up an odd fault. for some reason when I switch the ignition off it continues to run for a few seconds. any clues as to what to look for? engines and gearboxes I can deal with, but bloody electrics:confused::confused::confused: ron.:)

well, as the pulley is already off it will make life easier:D the pumps are about a hundred quid.before you disconnect the pipe work.clamp the flexi ones as near to the pump as possible. it reduces the amount of fluid loss.i did ours in about 1 1/2 hours so not too bad. when you get the pully...
