looking for a driver side rear door door handle drop pin the bit that drops from outside handle down to operate latch,as i snapped mine yesterday triing to adjust it:o also needing drivers front door window mechanism the scissor type bit that holds window as mine has self destructed.. just...

anyone know the part number for this rod i just snapped mine triing to turn it bummer...

you can get them mr noisy has one fitted to his disco check out his thread on his disco..

problem solved...fitted some decent bearings and all well.. not sure if they had supplied wrong bearings if this is possible,are earlier disco bearings slightly bigger?

took it for a 30 mile run to see if any diffrence,got back checked ell bearings,was a bit play on swivels so took out shims,disc was touching back plate abit not much though,readjusted bearings, still noisy i think maybe bearings are faulty,they were bearmach bearings so not top spec,cant think...

yes but only managed to get one shim in, it was the thicker one of the two before the circlip,i dont think bearing has broken it has three shims under it,i could turn swivel side to side easy with no drag,all was play free when i put wheel one,i did notice it was hard to get out of diff lock...

only just nipped them up,could still spin disc easily

have just replaced front wheel bearing and stub axle on my disco,now there is a loud scraping noise when driving,my initial thought was the disc back plate was rubbing,but it is bit more serious sounding than that,thinking it maybe front diff,unless i forgot to set something,what i done was,new...

did wonder this myself even on where to by a new one..

the only cars i've owned before are vauxhalls which could be almost completely dismantled with 10mm, 13 mm and 17mm spanners lol i don't think you need that many tools for discos lol.

new credit card arrived yesterday,thought i would see if it worked,so ordered new safari snorkel,diff guard and a new rear arch repair panel...:D just need to catch post now so wife don't find them...:rolleyes:

anyone had dealings with this company,they said thet would refund the money for the regulater through paypal on monday,still not had anything after a few emails which they dont reply to,bunch of knob jockeys..

ive got these lights aswell but not got round to wiring them yet..keep us posted as to what the are like...

it could be needing a shim or two taken out of the swivel pins,mine was doing this after i fitted new wheel bearings,had play top to bottom,but side to side was fine,i took of top swivel pin and removed a couple of the shims and all is good,well one of my swivel bearings is shot but will get it...
