Anyone fancy arranging a trip soon?

right i think i'm pretty much sorted for the recce, although the disco is pretty unprepaired as i've had to put all the spare cash on a new place to live! although i should have a snorkel and the electrics sorted by then that'll be about it, anyone got spare recovery gear if i get myself stuck:D

How wet do you think it'll be up there i gotta decide on a snorkel or petrol!!!

Assuming yours is the same 3.9V8 there are two pipes running across the top of the engine and down in to the bulkhead i just removed the pipes and looped on straight back in to the other

I'ts a 3.9 v8 but i'll check the props when it's light

I should still be up for the recce, just waiting for the last job to eventually pay up

Over 40 mph and semingly randomly my disco has started to get a really quite vicious shake that makes the whole car start to wobble about if i turn in to a bend it stops or if i let off and accelerate again it stops but it does seem to be getting more frequent! I've had a quick look underneath...

just had a better look it's full of antifreeze, i've just bypassed the heater matrix for now, will be ok so long as it doesn't get any colder!!

Just got home and noticed a puddle in the passenger footwell, seems to be coming out from behind the heater in the center console any ideas? i'm guessing a split hose on the heater matrix but i dont want to take it all apart if i don't have too!! any ideas?

I had the same on mine, was told the same thing so i replaced the transfer box and the mainshaft, and it still bloddy does it:mad::mad:

I've got nothing in the diary so it's just down to funds now Wish there wasn't so much on my want list i'm a liability on ebay but will try and save enough for the fuel up there and back

Keep wanting to try the V8 out in some deep stuff just not found any yet, might stock up on rubber gloves and WD first though:D:D
