    Air con overpressure

    Are the condensor fans working, them just in behind grill at front, if not working the system can develop too much head pressure similar to what yours is experiencing. Not the only reason mind you, but may be the first thing to check and very cheap to rectify.

    As you not using em for on-road, just buy the rims that are made for the tyres you want, then have engineering shop modify the centres, which will possibly be necessary anyway to correct the offset.

    Looks to me like the plug never stood a chance of sealing as it’s mangled from incorrect fitting, welch plugs need to be installed with correct size drift that fits the outer edge so as to not distort the plug. Good measure to also lightly emery the hole and also take the sharpness of the outer...

    Reliefe valve cracks at 4 bar, so the 0 - 5 bar would be plenty.

    No exactly sure if its possible to install the stat the wrong way around, but if so this would stop it working, also has the stat got a small hole through the main outer housing, if not drill one in it about 3/16" this will allow hot water to get to other side of stat so it responds quicker...

    remove the thermostat, suspend in sauspan of water on stove and check it starts to open as temp gets to about 85 - 89 degrees.

    could be filter, but I believe rojbarker is correct, check all the vacuum lines, they have a habit of developing split ends, and replace the filter ya tight bugger.

    At 88° C, skin burn is almost instantaneous, at 78° C, it takes less than 0.5 of a second, so I reckon that touching would be the way to go, not holding.
