Hi. In an attempt to get to the bottom of the lumpy starting with her indoors TD4 i rigged up a cheap leak back tester. four coke bottles and a bit of tubing Connected and let idle for five minutes. The result? Crude but effective:D Now doesn,t seem to be any big differences, number two...

Spray the inside of the door panel with rubber seal. Help stop vibration and rust:D

You mentioned doing a leak test. This was a home made kit i used. Dearest part was the connector for the top of the injectors. Still cheaper than buying a kit

Just doing an oil and filters service and i notice that the fuel filter in not in the engine compartment. So it must be on the osr wheelarch. Do i need to remove the wheel arch liner to find it? Thanks:) 2002 TD4

No light showing *touch wood* By the looks of things it was the original front pipe so with 82k on it it would probably drop off soon anyway. I did the same many years ago with the Disco in my avatar. It was a great job

I believe so;) I checked with the mot chaps over here and they seemed unconcerned. Too late now anyway:D Seems to rev a bit smoother and pulls better from lower revs. Turbo seems to kick in around 1100 rpm.

Havnt had any luck finding one so was going to modify the front pipe, remove the cat and put a bit of pipe in:D

Has anyone Decat'd their TD4. If so did it make any difference.;)
