I'll add that I had my heated screen professionally fitted. I wouldn't recommend anyone do it, unless they have significant experience. It's a b*stard of a job!

Have you checked the starter motor relay?

I don't know the exact spec of the pump, I'm afraid. It's a Facet Lift Pump from the States, and it retailed for about £85.00. I have attached two photos of the install, if it helps.

Got so fed up of lift pump failures (even the Delphi ones!), and diesel entering the sump, that I had an electric lift pump professionally fitted to my 300tdi a year ago. No issues since.....

I had similar problems with my 90, Water was running in through a worn door seal, in the top front corner of the door, and down the A pillar. I renewed the door seal for about a tenner. Now have dry feet :)
