What Disco have you got 200 or 300 series? Your chassis no. should provide the correct caliper needed if you look on any parts website. RTC3380 are not for Disco's :confused:

If I won the Lottery it'd be a 2nd hand V12 Aston straight away just to see if I'd like it... BUT I bloody hate driving a normal car, yet whenever I jump into the Disco I feel right at home ... so I reckon I'd spend the dosh on totally re-building my Disco if I didn't like the Aston:D

Reading the article, to me it's not a Lambo main dealer so it's probably the garages insurance co. telling them not to admit liability .. even if the tester was a plank out of his depth...

I think you'd have to split the caliper, then clean it spotlessly before fitting new seals & pistons ... do-able and time consuming or get 2 new uns (non-genuine) for about £100...

Have a go as colinl has suggested, if that fails flush out the heater matrix as they will easily trap air that is a pain to shift. Also if you fit a standard household radiator plug (size 1/2" BSP) to the thermostat housing you'll be able to bleed her whilst hot.

Trapped air in the heater matrix? maybe flushing that through might help...

Get yourself a Jack Russell, mine used to dispatch rats with surprising efficiency.

+1 on this, easiest way to get cover as they really don't like covering cars over 10 years old.

I think the biggest problem these days is that in order to save money/weight they are using thinner metal to make these parts, a false economy considering the regular stress they are under. As for Renault, I wouldn't have one even if it was a freebie!
