Ain't it easier to do from underneath?

Missing earth cable? Just asking as there was one on my Disco when I changed the motors over.

I've got both types here, and both of them have 65mm end pipes on them.

I use a screw driver through a wrench into the filter, the wrench giving extra leverage to turn the filter off.

I've just fitted this one to my Disco, starts 1st time without waiting for the glow plugs ;)

Fitted the new battery (which took less than 24hrs to be delivered :) ) and lo and behold she burst into life faster than she's ever done since I've owned her ... sadly I also found that there is a power drain of 0.15v, so will be playing with the fuses tomorrow to trace the problem :doh:

Don't mix them, the different types of coolants (green or orange) chemically react and form a gel rather than a liquid and will cause major issues.

Been having starting issues lately :confused2: well for sometime tbh and have suspected that after 4 years the current 570CCA battery may be on it's last legs. So tested the alternator, giving out correct voltage, measured battery 12.6v .. dropped to 8.4v when trying to start the Disco :eek...

Give the staff shovels...................

Last time we had a decent amount of snow the Mrs and I ferried hospital staff to and from work ... in that instance I reckon it's acceptable;)

Aye tell me about it. Talking of fools ... took a walk to our local shop earlier with the Mrs, came across someone driving who had simply cleared directly in front of the steering wheel with all other windows covered in snow .... whilst talking on their mobile phone (car's were spinning out...
