Well just returned back from weeks holiday to Saint Agnes in Cornwall. We covered 820 miles and from what I've calculated she's done 39 mpg and never missed a beat the whole journey, well happy with my Freelander.
Yeah I think the speaker grills look better in black, I've still got to do the rears.
I'd be interested to know what you think of those door handle covers when you get them, may purchase a set if you think they are ok.
Thanks for the comments :)
The paint on the arches and bumpers is holding up very well.
I'll post some pictures when I at home as we are on holiday at the moment in Saint Agnes.
I purchased GKN VCU and support bearings from Island 4x4 at Christmas time last year. For one reason and another I wasn't able to get it fitted until a couple of months ago, yes it was in a Britpart box, but it's running fine with no issues.
Sorry to resurrect this thread, but was wondering how you found the orange polybush with regards to engine snatch and vibration in the cabin. I've recently replaced the lower tie bar with a new Land Rover genuine part on my 2001 Td4 auto and to be honest it hasn't made much difference with...
I changed all three with Land Rover genuine parts, but as already been said it was the front one that was totally shot, but back ones still looked good, but I still changed them as I'd already bought the new ones.
From page one to present day, what an interesting thread, some of work you've done is what I'm wanting to do, keep up the good work, I look forward to more reports and pictures :)
Hi guys
Thank you for your comments they are all appreciated.
I actually wanted to paint the arches and bumpers matt black, but the car paint shop guy talked me into the satin black, lol.
