    What colour....

Lifes a bitch. Maybe you could just drive straight up to the paint desk and ask them to get you your string, and wave the colour matching thingy around whilst they're at it?

    Pain in the arse!

Let's face it, they're robbers the lot of em. I had 2 years no claims, but because I've been in a company van for 2 years I've no certificate to back it up. When I explained this my current insurer for the 'landy my premium almost doubled!!! Of course, the 3 years no claims for the bike doesn't...

    What colour....

Id strap it to the roof, and hope it's still there when I arrived at B&Q. Maybe you should get some string to tie it on with.

    What colour....

If you're planning on driving to B&Q, probably shouldn't take off the drivers door, plod might not take too kindly, and it'll be very breezy...

    Replacing Defender door hinges

For impact drivers or any cordless power tool I always recommend Bosch Professional. They are by far and away the best cordless tools I've ever used. Expensive though.

I've got Spots (on my mind)!!!

Hi guys, Clearly being a dumbass. I'm looking at fitting spots to an A bar. What I'd really like is a set of spots that I can run with my headlights, and have them dimmable so I can use them all the time. Are these Driving lights? Or am I making them up? Also, I'm a total 'tard when it comes...

What are the symptoms for td5 faulty injectors?

It might still be the MAFF, when it fails the ECU reverts to a pre-set setting, or safe mode. Removing the MAFF won't tell you if it's failed or not. It needs to be plugged into a diagnostic computer to tell you if it's a dead un.

Fitting a Reversing / Observation Camera...

I used to work for a company with a fleet of vans with these fitted, one night they all got done by the local chavs, thinking they were sat-navs. To be fair though, we only used them for looking down ladies tops at lights.... Missed many a green light in the summer!!

Hi Jerry, what did you decide in the end? A frame ball joint or one of the other ( and scarier! ) options?

    Knocking from front

WTF was your wife doing in the Landy??? I daren't let my missus drive mine in case she decides that she likes it and wants to drive that instead of her Pug. Too risky!!!

    Auto or manual

I always like the thought of an auto box, just for the ease of use. But you need to consider a considerable jump in fuel consumption, and a horrible engine note as well!! Like i said, like the idea, but not the practicalities!!
