    Have you checked the connections at the height sensors? I had a similar problem and it was just a bad connection on one of the rear hight sensors.

    Mines the same, top hose is never firm. Been like it since I've had it nearly 2 years and 10k. Runs fine. Wouldn't worry. Like the man says to much pressure is worse.

    Silly question I know but you did follow the correct sequence for torqueing down. It has been known.

    4.6 have more toys than the 4.0. H S E v's S E spec. And all the same things go wrong with all of them, petrol or diesel! Like the man said not the most reliable car. But still love em though!

    I tow a van with a 4.6 on L P G. Get equivalent of around 20 mpg. Lots of power and never gets hot. And v8 p38s are cheaper than diesel ones even on L p g

    After messing around with the center exhaust on my P38 today i started it up only to have an EAS fault!!! Bugger. Its been sat for about a month as ive been on holiday, all the flashing lights and beeping made me think the worst!! But a quick check and clean of the connection to the height...

    V* Petrol Pump...its rather noisey!

    I got a facet pump. Could be a silver top type, cant remember. But that clicks away all the time, but cant hear it in the car when the engines running. you may need a pressure regulator.

    O ring screw stuck

    Mine was stuck solid. Had to drill the head off and use a dremmel type tool to get it out. Once the head is off you can get the threaded bit out with mole grips.

    My tank only takes around 40 or so lts. And it's 73.9ppl here in Dover! And I get about 120 miles around town and about 140 ish on a run. But it's a single point system. 4.6 gems engine. 122k and all fine!

    Yeah I second that. Got same set up more or less. Thought battery was good till I fitted a new one. 100 amp and about 600 or so cranking amps . Turns over like New. Also check engine earths.

    cheapest way is to fit one for a 3.9 or 4.2 engine. Not much of a gain but easy and cheap. Lots of other cams about its all about what you want from the engine?

    Head Gasket which make?

    I used welseal on both tin and comp gaskets and both are still fine after a few years and miles so I'd recommend using it when doing them.
