I use mobil 1 10w 60 extended life. Just done my 4.4 (165k) and seems to be ok. Also ive replaced the chain tensioner, this could help with the rattle you have also. It just screws into the side of the timing chain cover. Look on you tube, the bmw boys put lots of good stuff on there...

Just fitted this 24 bulbs Xenon White LED Interior Light Kit For Land Rover Range Rover 2003-2009 | eBay LED light kit to my 2002 L322. Looks great, a much brighter and whiter light. A couple of the bulbs were incorrect for my car but have messaged seller to sort this. Well worth doing.

Sounds like a broken exhaust manifold or just the manifold gasket

I got 4 bosch universal sensors from ebay for £70 inc p+p. Front n/s one was a pain to change! Whole exhaust had to come off!
