Think it really depends on the driver, my missus has a BMW X5 with 275/40/20 front and 315/30/20 rears, and I managed perfectly well in it last year so much so that I was actually quite shocked at just how good it was in the snow. Obviously it was'nt in a defenders league but still very impresive!

I'm running axle mounted dislocation cones and double cranked trailing arms from Adrenaline 4X4 (ebay) very pleased with the setup and they're not at all noisey, unlike my mates chassis mounted cones! I've never had the springs come out yet after 2 yrs of pretty serious action!

Had them crystal halogens fitted a couple of years, only problem is they aint sealed so after a few trips fording deep water the inside of the lens got shagged and a £40 they aint exactly cheap. That said the old sealed beams are really ****e by comparison, but at least the keep working even...

sorry I meant the pipe thread, for some reason I had it in my mind that they are 7/16 unf on the slave and 3/8 unf on the master cylinder?
