I took my P38 into a car wash last week for a £2 quick wash to get the salt off it.......I now need to find and fork out around £25 for a new n/s headlight wiper arm......(unless anyone has a spare they can sell me :) )

How much for a replacement RF receiver? I have just disconnected mine for the time being....

My indicators used to flash when unlocking and locking the doors, however they decided to change themselves a couple of weeks ago to flashing the side lights instead.....

Like Kooky Guy, mine has just passed 125k and has done more than half of this on LPG ( according to the service records etc...) Appart from the usual P38 electrical gremlins, mine is running just fine (TOUCH WOOD)

I have already disconnected the RF receiver....still same issues. Thans Anyway. Regards Chris

Thanks All, I do not have any issues with leaking Heater matrix etc, Overlanderover this was my train of thought, I have already printed off the "de-mystying the BECM" document, so I know where I need to look once I get at it...., just need to get on with it I suppose...... Thanks again...

yes there is a rubber grommet right in bottom corner, you will have to get at it from underneath though and push the wires up though....

OK…….where so I start!!! Ever since I bought my P38 - 2001 (Y) 4.6 LPG, I have been experiencing minor electrical glitches…”No surprise there” I hear you shout….. The main issue that I want to focus on here today, is that common occurrence of the battery...

The wires/plug are inside the car, inside the access panels where you would access the tail light wires, As you look into the back of the car, the standard trailer wiring is on the right hand side /drivers side, and the auxilary wiring is on the left.

Hi Rodell, does the sound seem to come from under the passenger floor/footwell area? If so I have recently been getting this also, so far have had no response to my thread, mine is a 4.6 on LPG though......
