just fitted the cruise control two days ago and yes u only need the two switches, really a very simple job:):):) to cut the hole i used a stanley knife which i heated the the blade with a blow torch, made cutting the hole very easy, just like cutting butter lol lol

well the hub assembley from a disco fits the the 300tdi defender, just finished splitting and rebuilding the rear hub on my defender, halfshaft all secured and back on the road:):):):):):)

hello will the rear hub assembly off a disco 300tdi axle fit onto my defender axle? i have broken all the studs holding the half shaft on my hub, and rather than try and drill and tap them i can get a complete hub from a discovery axle, but i need to know asap...............................many...

CharlesY i am not new to landys, however i am new to a TD5, a disco 2 2004 es model i am about to do a full fluid change including the engine oil so is 13/30 10/30 good for my disco engine? my oil for the othe landys was framer proof oil lol lol

can i fit an under drive to my 90 300tdi which has a r380 gearbox:confused::confused::confused:

when i built my 300tdi 90, i put ep90 in the r380 gearbox:mad::mad: however it was hard to get gears when she was cold, i didnt do many miles and then changed to MTF and boy what a difference it made to selecting the gears:):) IMHO use MTF oil, you only need about 3 ltrs

hi as it says can i fit another alternator on my 90 300tdi:confused::confused: i have done a search but nothing real clear:o i would like to run a winch from one battery feed from its own alternator:) any ideas, drawings or pictures:D:D

i was out off roading last weekend forest run, several landys got stuck and had to be winched out, it was a warn 8274 winch with plasma rope that did all the work to get them out using 4 plasma 125ft extension ropes, total winching time continuous over four hours to get four landys out firking...
