:clap2::clap2::clap2: thats the long and the short of it where the mot is concerned. as for the dealer if he advertised as " all vehicles are fully checked" then he has broken the law by false advertising and IMHO hasnt got a leg to stand on.

just goes to show what these cars can look like with some loving care. i bought this one awhile back, it was a farmers car, not a shiney bit of paint on the whole car, inside was full of mud,blood n feathers, took 2 weeks to clean it out and getting looking like this

as far as im aware the clarion and the alpine units are not interchangable,, but i may be wrong.

why dont you take the origanal seats to bespoke seat builder and have them re-made to your own spec ?? (does away with sit tipping problems) then you will know that they will fit without having to rebuild the seat bases.
