Yup, aviva are good. I paid just over £1000 for my 90 defender van. Only had license 2 months!

Cheers everyone, checked em all with a multimeter, the gauge comes on with ignition and the backlights are working. Only problem now is the ciggy lighter doesnt work with the lights turned on because of a massive voltage drop to 0.3v, but I'm not bothered about that. Chris.

Yes, I noticed this as well, I think it must be the way the gauge has been calibrated. Can't just suddenly start using more fuel..... or can it? Hope not, Chris.

Just to let you know, I got the same gauge you have in the photo. Got it all hooked up and went for a drive, works perfectly, getting just under 1 Bar of pressure, not sure if this is good or bad, seems OK to me. Just need to install it into my Mud Pod dash mount tomorrow. Thanks again for the...

I think you have to be 25 or over with Aviva to drive any other car. By once you are, you are covered Third Party as you say. If that were available to me, I would dump my Landy in a garage somewhere and drive my Mum's Subaru everywhere :D But hell, you can't complain with insurance that...

Really great to hear that! I did mine all over the phone, and nothing popped up saying it was wrong on their end. Everything has been going very smoothly since. What Landy have you got? £948 is pretty good. I did a quote with a 1985 Defender and that was just under £800.

I insured my 1996 Defender 90 Van with Aviva for just under £1500, I'm 17 and have only had my license 1.5 months. Only being 3 seats makes it a lot cheaper aswell.

I also have this problem on my 300Tdi. I have a few other noises coming from underneath, so will be checking the UJ's at the weekend, hopefully will resolve it. If not, could be the wheel bearings.
