Thanks mate second ironical thing in two days, was just looking at same advert and noted turbos are listed for D4 and xf so inadvertently have a pair here will check part numbers, if all goes well maybe close next weekend but still have new motor to fit in D3 Not sure about difficulties though...

Wheel balance usually worst at 50-60 as above would start there, shaking when braking as you said warped or Ill fitted discs as a general rule or starting point, check disc run out Jealous would like a pursuit myself pics please

Done all auxiliaries bits and Bob's last weekend Removed from stand fitted trigger wheel crank sensor and flywheel, fitted gearbox and turbo brackets, routing the wiring, last part was to fit cross over pipe Grand tidy up next and get Discovery in refit within couple of weeks if work permits

Copper injector seals came this morning so cracked on injectors in fuel system feeds then leak off pipes, started replacing wiring on left hand side, power steering, air conditioning, intercooler pipe work and a few other bits

Yes best route as above used motor one you can hear running, have seen prices of 8-10k for exchange

Timing done, fitted vacuum pump, primed motor through oil filter until oil ran out of turbo feed, cam chain tensioners pumped up, put about 2L ish in, did fuel pump pulley and belt, and breather tube, turbo arrived now primed and fitted started fitting oil supply rocker covers tomorrow decided...

Fitted cams, seals and timing pulleys, have just done cambelt. Just going to fit vacuum pump and can prime the oil using millers, before fitting rocker covers, will use a catch bottle for turbo feed, still have intercooler to flush, everything else clean and ready, reconditioned turbo on way
