the fost 1 is from the 2.8d (na) 1984-87 also fitted to the turbo version 84-87. I just assumed yo got an early 2.8,all the later uns had the other pump I rekon. I dint do anythin yo coud'nt of done yasen. just a little search while waitin for me chinky to arrive.

Your heater should be adequate, it cant be workin proplee. And being a truck cab should not take long to get warm inside. Our td5 does seem to take a little longer to warm up than others we have had, but once its up to temp its as wam as toast.

The only proper fix for this is the replacement receiver as adam's post. what you on about, (engine cranking, remove of engine immobiliser code, becm)?. how do you fix this from where you say you are, and why does anyone need to email you to get the details?
