I went to the mot as well this morning and glad to say it passed with flying colors. When they tested the emission I saw a figure of 1.04 on the meter. Must say that I drove the car the last 10 kilometers to the station blocked in 4th gear at 120 kmh, guess that blew the filth out of the exhaust:D

I understand the older models (like mine) have passive abs sensors and need the car to go up to some 8 kms/miles per hour and then go out where the newer cars have the active sensors, they don't need any rotation of the wheels to be checked and extinguished.

Contrary to what ian11 says overhere you drive your car just in front of the station and from there the inspectors take over and do it all themselves, you can just walk along with your car through the "lane" while it passes all the different test locations.

Sounds to me too that it's normal 4-stroke oil to put in your 4-stroke lawnmawer aso.. not the specific 2-stroke oil ??
